Eagles and Las Vegas. A weird week.

I just returned from a few days in Alaska, where I tested the new Nikon 600mm f/6.3 VR S lens. Honestly, the weather was awful, but that's how it sometimes goes. This is a fascinating lens. It might be as sharp as a 600mm f/4, but less than half the price and weight. Nikon has done a great job with this.

Some may know that I sometimes work for Red Bull on projects relating to their F1 racing team. F1 fans will also know that this weekend is the first-ever F1 race in Las Vegas. I'm about to board a flight from the Yukon to Vancouver, where I'll board another flight to Vegas for the weekend. I'll post some YouTube Shorts from the road. From the Alaskan wilderness to the bright lights of Vegas! Two very different locations in the USA.
Once I return from Las Vegas, I'll only be home for 8 hours before jumping on a transatlantic flight, but I'll save that for an email next week...
